Nice small outside bar. Food is tasty and well prepared. A good friendly bar.

Great place! Service was perfect, vibe was great. We had standard “bar food” which was fine. If you want to just relax and chat, this is a great place!!

My review is only about the Karaoke. I can say I am not happy when the KJ sings when, me, a paying customer came to sing. I did not come here to hear the host taking up the limited time. I am paying his salary!KJ can sing when no one is waiting, but that rarely happens. MANAGEMENT should correct this!

Best Lobster and shrimp bisque EVER!! Crab stuffed mushrooms in wine sauce were amazing! Fun fact: outside bartender made me sit 6 ft from my husband LMAO! I thanked her 🤣

Friendly staff. Music was too loud. I ordered a burger with fries. Neither were that good. Left most of the fries. The beer is cold and the outdoor space is nice when you're no having to inhale other people's cigarette smoke.

Cute place by the beach!!! The food was good and staff is super friendly (Friendly Tavern - very appropriate). However, I do not care for the smoky entrance. I'm glad we sat inside; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to eat my food :)

Had an absolutely awesome time ...... friendly staff.....smile never left the attentive waiter’s face. The food was great and really good value for the money - very generous portions. It was Karaoke night and so much fun.

Service was excellent. Drink prices were reasonable. There was karaoke. There is a touch tunes as well so you can be your own DJ.

We went on a Saturday for prime rib as it was recommended.We were extremely disappointed! There were five of us, The first dinners came out and it seem like they were plated and They forgot to microwave them Because they were very cold like they came out of the refrigerator even the baked potato. We sent the meal back saying it was cold and they microwaved it . That changed the prime rib from medium rare to well done. And it was still not very warm. The waitress was excellent and very gracious said she would take back all the dinners and give us fresh meals. However the second serving was every bit as cold! Obviously they use leftover prime rib and heated it up. We called and spoke to the manager the next day who is very apologetic however when you spend this much money I feel they should have offered us some compensation. Not one of us were able to eat our meal because it was not Worth eating.

It is friendly. Great bartender. Lots of repeat customers. Try it out and see if it's your jam.

Bit loud for my taste excellent food though. The steak bites were better than the steak at many MANY steakhouses and the pesto chicken nachos (as awesome as they sound) came with a delicious creamy pesto sauce that we used on everything. I got the Black Jack burger: large, perfectly juicy, caramelized onions so good that you could eat them like candy, came with fries as good as everything else. If the noise bothers, ear plugs or headphones would be worth this food.

The pizza is frozen. The karaoke is fresh. The clientele is seasoned. Your call.

This place is a staple in Redington Beach you can always count on us being open and the food being delicious hot and ready to go. Will the friendly wait staff smiling and waiting to please you.

NO ONE is 6 ft apart inside or outside the establishment and the staff take off their masks as soon as they come inside... during a global pandemic...

This is our favorite Saturday morning breakfast stop. It is bright & airy with food that is always top notch. Combine that with very friendly & knowledgeable staff and you have a great experience. You can dine/drink inside or outside on the front deck at a table or at the tiki bar. I highly recommend it!

Found this place open on Christmas evening after we landed and drove to our condo. It was late and all we could get was fried food but it was tasty. Judy was our server and she was great. Karaoke was fun. We returned couple times for breakfast and James took care of us. My wife really liked Asiago bagel with egg and cheese. We did not have a great time on Sunday afternoon. Food order took long time and was wrong. Overall good place but also hit or miss

A great atmosphere! Right across the street from the beach, but doesn’t offer a water view. Has music the majority of the times! Definitely a fun, local bar to add to your list. Food is good too and servers are very nice!

Popular beach restaurant offering a seafood-driven menu. Casual atmosphere, relaxing tiki bar, and good food. A favorite locals hangout. No pretensions here, its been a Redington Beach mainstay for over 30 years. Longevity says it all. Order a rum runner & a blackened grouper sandwich, then walk over to the beach for a sunset.

Had the Nacho Supreme Delicious! Lots of beef and well balanced with lots of cheese as well. A must try!

Friendly tavern? Hardly. Our bartender today was anything but. Barely smiled and had No personality. The customers at the bar were friendly at least. The special of the day was a mahi wrap w "mahi, lettuce and tartar " she described. It was actually a very spicy Chipotle aioli, cheddar cheese and tomato. Good thing I wasn't allergic. Anyhoo, we had a great lunch and a fun time despite the service. We will be back but will avoid the outside bar.

Always a good time at the Friendly Tavern. The crowd here is a mix of locals and tourist. The food is great and the drinks are cold. Sometimes the table service can be slow doesn't matter if they are busy or slow.

Our favorite night out option. My husband loves karaoke there! Danielle always takes care of us!

Thank you to Darlene and Chef Rainbow for making our first meal out in 2 months. Friendly Tavern is our "church" on Sundays. Almost every Sunday for a couple of years we've had "Bloody Mary Breakfast" at what we consider our local watering hole. The food is always good, drinks are generous, coffee is strong, and service fits the name. We have missed Sandy and all the folks. Obviously it was different today not being able to sit around the bar. But they did a great job spacing the tables and it made our day. Here's to hoping Florida continues to recover!

Friendly Tavern is a great place to go or pick up carry out! James Howell, Chef Rainbow, Kristen, Jaimie, Mona, Darlene and the rest always make you feel welcome and like one of the family. We always take our out of town guest to Friendly Tavern. Everyone loves it!

The staff here is absolutely amazing! However the place is filthy. And post COVID i was really hoping it would be cleaned up, but it seems to be even filthier upon re-opening.

Great place for karaoke. Now if eating then I'd suggest eating outside as it is way too loud and crowded on the inside. Bad thing is only four tables outside. Waitresses are very friendly and keep it coming. Tuesday and Thursday is all you can eat crab legs or ribs. Bad thing is price keeps going up up and up but nothing has changed on your meal. Seems they want to cater more towards tourists and have forgotten about us locals; even if we are great tippers per service done right. This to me is unacceptable. Now if you want to hang at their tiki bar day in and day out then may be different; but I find those people to be obnoxious and rude. Bartender will ignore you too. I love going in Tuesday and Thursday for the crab legs but believe there is a better friendlier place if even have to go back to treasure island. For Beach complimentary eating here you are, come in your bathing suit no one cares. That would be the only plus I see.

Wife had the BBQ bacon burger. Said it was maybe the best burger she'd ever had. I got a taco salad...don't bother getting a salad OR anything Mexican here. Seriously. That bad. But the burger was awesome.

Good little dive bar across the street from the beach with decent food and good prices on food and drinks and karaoke after 9. The vibe is a mix of local and tourist by day and mostly locals and seasonal residents in the evening. If not a fan of a loud karaoke, keep the visit to depart by 9pm. S for the food. The chili is excellent of you like a meaty, hearty, thick chili with bold flavor. Salads are typical garden mix style but if you like blue cheese they have a great house made blue. The burgers are all winners and are cooked to temp with good seasoning and toppings. The Philly is their own version with higher quality beef than on the typical shaved sirloin Philly; its a good sandwich on a good roll. For dessert go with one of their truffles as they are fabulous. And service is consistant with what you would expect at a place called Friendly. So whether local or tourist, its a good dive to enjoy.

Service was great, food good and the Karaoke crowd was fun. Karaoke song selection was oudated. Didn't have six #1 songs in 2 genre's released in the last 15 years.

Not gonna lie, but when they say they have the best wings, they aren't exaggerating. Order them extra crispy with the medium sauce. The service is great... Mona was our bartender tonight... super friendly (no pun intended) and always made sure we were taken care of.

2 adults, Tuesday afternoon around 1 PM. Chilly 50 something degrees. A couple people outside drinking beer. No one inside. The inside has a slight aroma of stale beer. We both ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was pretty good. Service was friendly. We both drank water. Totalr was $22 before tax.

The tuna stuffed tomato was RIDICULOUS!! The fish dip was amazing, and the beers are ice cold. More than just your average locals spot, this place is a very consistent, bar atmosphere, restaurant with great service!

I don’t recommend coming here after 9 pm they will likely get you order wrong. I ordered some potato skins and half of them came out frozen. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich plain. And it came out with Mushrooms and onions on it. I love the vibe, Staff are nice, place is nice, but I would not eat food here after 9 pm. It’s best to come here just for drinks. The food is very good.

It really is Friendly! I'm a solo traveller and dropped in for a late dinner. Met lots of friendly people. Patty melt was great too. Highly recommended.
